Our Ministry

Our History and Mission

God has given us a passion to help fulfill the Great Commission by reaching millions of people around the world with the good news of Christ. Our motto is: "Christ's love compels us to seek and save the lost." How was our vision born?

Bob Boyd Jr. was the pastor of a growing church near Charlottesville, Virginia, when God called he and his wife, Mallory, to launch a broader ministry of reaching people around the world. Dr. Boyd served as an International Speaker with Campus Crusade for Christ International for 12 years. To expand the scope of his ministry beyond college campuses and partner with a broad spectrum of ministries, he founded the Bob Boyd Evangelistic Association in 1997.

“We wanted to start a new evangelistic ministry and work with many churches and parachurch organizations,” Bob said. “Of course, we have continued to work with Campus Crusade for Christ International and will always do so, but now we work with many other missionary organizations and hundreds of churches around the world. Our Team has grown into a strongly-knit, highly-committed group of men and women focused on reaching the world for Christ.”

When asked what he considers to be his biggest success, he responds, “The greatest thing in my life is knowing the Great Lover of my soul, Jesus Christ. He has given me a wonderful relationship with my wife, Mallory, and 4 boys, and the privilege of leading a Team which is bringing Christ’s message of love and hope to people around the world.”

Today, our Team at the Bob Boyd Evangelistic Association leads evangelistic campaigns that enable ministries on campuses and across whole cities to greatly multiply their evangelistic impact. Often the number of people coming to Christ multiplies by 2x, 5x or 10x through our evangelistic campaign in a city or on a university campus! Our team also leads life-changing "Unleashing God's Power Thru Prayer" and "Feel the Power!" (Evangelism) seminars, as well as speaking at conferences and retreats on intimacy with God, how to have a great love life (dating, marriage and family) and other topics.
