Our Evangelist

The Bob Boyd Evangelistic Association is far more than one individual. It is a team of dedicated Christians who are united in their purpose of bringing more people to Christ. Each member of our team brings faith in Christ and unique talents to our campaigns and conferences, enabling us to reach many different people and many different groups.

Dr. Bob Boyd is the founder of the Bob Boyd Evangelistic Association. A state championship wrestler in high school, Bob graduated from the College of William and Mary. As a senior in college, Bob met Christ in a dramatic encounter that transformed his life. Called to the ministry, he attended Dallas Theological Seminary (ThM) and then earned his doctorate in Biblical Preaching at Asbury Seminary. He pastored a growing church on the original “Walton’s Mountain” of TV fame. Then Campus Crusade for Christ International invited Bob to join its staff as an International Speaker. After 12 years with Campus Crusade, Bob and his wife Mallory began the Bob Boyd Evangelistic Association in 1997. Dr. Boyd and the team now lead large city-wide and university-wide evangelistic campaigns around the world. Bob has spoken to millions of people in these campaigns and on radio and TV. Countless thousands have become active disciples of Christ. Bob and Mallory live in Norfolk, VA. They have four sons, Bobby, Benjamin, Billy and Brian.

Mallory Boyd is the Women’s Director for the Bob Boyd Evangelistic Association. She graduated from Southern Methodist University with a B.F.A. in art and worked as an artist for three years for Athletes in Action. She met Bob and later married him before his last year at Dallas Theological Seminary, helping him pastor a church on the original “Walton’s Mountain” in Virginia. Bob and Mallory joined Campus Crusade for Christ staff, and she joined with Bob and then helped lead a discipleship program among seminary wives in Wilmore, KY while at Asbury Theological Seminary. Over the years Mallory has led many Bible studies and spoken to thousands at family seminars, as well as founding large children’s ministries in Russia, Africa, India and Pakistan. She is a gifted speaker and teacher of the Bible, as well as co-author of The New Life, an evangelistic training tool. Today, Mallory is an award-winning watercolor artist and a devoted wife and mother of 4 boys, Bobby, Benjamin, Billy and Brian.

Administrative Office Staff
It is our privilege to have a fine support staff in our headquarters providing administrative support to those of us working in the field as well as our many volunteers and ministry supporters. International Associates
In addition to the regular members of our team, we also have hundreds of strategic partners around the world. Most of these are pastors, bishops, evangelists, businessmen, and other dedicated Christian leaders. For example, we have three full-time Pakistani workers who continue the work we began in that country. We call them “J,” “A” and “J2,” using these indicators to protect their identities. BBEA also has hundreds of strategic partners in Western Kenya who lead ministries in several cities. John Kipkimboi Matei heads a children's ministry with a team of Kenyan workers, who lead more than 7,000 new believers in the School of Discipleship. Pastor Chris leads a local congregation with outreaches to some of the poorest slums of Kenya. We consider is a great privilege to minister alongside these "warriors" in the Kingdom of God.

Plus, we have a Team of over 1000 Prayer Warriors, Financial Partners and Volunteers.
Fervent prayer is the reason God has done such great things through our ministry. We believe “We can’t” – we can’t reach the world for Christ. But “He can” – God can and will bring men and women to Himself when we pray.
